I'm drinking from my saucer

I've never made a fortune,
it might be to late now.
But I dont worry about that much,
cuz I'm happy anyhow.
As I go along lifes journey,
I'm reaping better than I sew,
I'm drinking from my saucer,
because my cup has overflowed.

Aint got a lot of riches,
and sometimes the goings tough.
But I've got a friend in Jesus
I guess that makes me rich enough.
I thank God for all his blessings on me,
and the mercy he's bestowed.

I remember times when things went wrong,
and my faith grew a little thin.
But then all at once those dark clouds broke,
and the sun came shining through again.
So lord help me not to grumble and complain,
about the tough rows I have hoed,

Lord give me strength and courage,
when the way gets steep and rough.
I'll not ask for other blessings,
i'm already blessed enough.

A lady found the fawn under her step (they think the doe might have been hit by a car) .. her Ridge Back dog is helping look after it. The family named the fawn Ella. Once she has regained her strength (she was not in good shape when the family found her) they are going to send her to some friends who (in the past) raised two orphan deer and released them to the wild. Right now she is being bottle fed. Their dog (Hogan) has basically taken over. The fawn even shares his bed.
